We offer a safe, warm, confidential environment to explore the various difficulties you may be experiencing with an aim to develop practical ways to deal with these challenges and to move your life towards being the life you want.
What to expect? The first few sessions will focus on developing a working therapeutic alliance between clinician and client and determine in collaboration a treatment plan that reflects your specific goals and needs.
What therapy do we use?
The hourly sessions ( 50 to 60 mins) may include relaxation and mindfulness strategies to teach the nervous system how to settle, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) or CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Strategies) based strategies to deal with challenging thoughts and feelings. We will also focus on unpacking what truly matters and what self defeating behaviours may be getting in the way of your chosen goals. We will aim to help you develop new behaviours which are more in line with the life you dream of living.
Trauma Sensitive Yoga may be used to help develop better mind body awareness which is often disrupted in people who experienced Trauma.
Online EMDR Therapy may be used if trauma issues are present.
