Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Clinical Psychology
Mensana Psychology is offering sessions that incorporate Clinical Psychology and Trauma Sensitive Yoga to help you learn ways to deal with current and past challenges.
These sessions will include a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Component followed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy so you will have the opportunity to learn and practice helpful ways to deal with challenging thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
The combination of both Yoga and Clinical Psychology will contribute to deeper learning and long lasting changes and the sessions will provide you with opportunities to practice new skills with the support of a Clinical Psychologist and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher.
These sessions are particularly useful for clients who have experienced trauma.
The sessions will commence with a gentle 30 mins Trauma Sensitive Yoga practice, followed by a 60 mins Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Session. You do not need to be experienced in Yoga.
